Out of the numerous religious centers in Wheaton, including more than 40 churches, there is only one Islamic institution. The Islamic Center of Wheaton has been serving the community since its inception in September 2013.

With its vast array of services dedicated to stimulating the progression of society by focusing on the tenets of Islam, striving to preach peace and goodwill to its patrons and neighbors, and fostering the growth of our youth to help them develop into men and women of exemplary.

To fulfill the Islamic obligation of Muslims towards Almighty Allah.

The Center is committed to preserving an Islamic identity, building and supporting a viable Muslim community, promoting a comprehensive Islamic way of life based on the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), inculcating true Islamic values in the members in order to contribute positively to building a healthy, safe and moral society at large, and introducing Islam to others.

VISION

The Islamic Center of Wheaton envisions a center to serve our community, a community united by faith and the intention to help and develop our neighbors and patrons. The Center is intended to be a safe haven for children and families, a source of guidance and direction for its patrons, and an institution that will grow our community spiritually, academically, and professionally, as well as physically, socially, and emotionally.

The ICW is not just a mosque for prayers rather it is a community center for all.
